I’m back!!
Hey there, sorry I’ve been away for so long, I had finals last week and now I’m home for the summer. Ahh home, with no cable and glacial speed internet. Not to mention the family that doesn’t understand my obsession with sports or any of my obsessions. sigh. oh well, anyway just some ramblings that have came into my head. The brewers have been on a tear lately, currently they lead the .5 game back cardinals 8-2 in the 8th. (Gamecast will be my best friend all summer long) to me, it really isn’t that hard to figure out why the brew crew are doing so well. When Braun and Fielder do well, the team does well, and when they do bad the team does bad. It’s pretty obvious that anyone in the order 1-7 can take you deep, but when you have your two biggest bats lighting it up, you can be more aggressive at the plate and your pitchers feel more relaxed knowing that sooner or later the runs will come. i didn’t see Kobe doin’ work, and I don’t plan on seeing it because i’m a lebron guy and I think spike lee is probably just another kobe groupie and this doc is just about how awesome kobe is. other thoughts, i wish guus hiddink would stay on at chelsea but I doubt it. I am beyond pumped for the tonight show with conan. 1. Because Conan is my favorite late night host 2. Jay Leno is my least favorite. I’m also trying to contain my rage towards Benedict Favre. That is another post that will surely come if he goes anywhere. If he goes to the dumbest state in the union, he is literally dead to me. ahh yes, seth mcclung getting to finish out a non-save opportunity. by the way, I saw Todd Coffey bat last week, took three pitches down the pipe and sat down. It was obvious Ken told him too, but my life would be complete if he A. got a walk and pulled a David Eckstein B. Got a homer and sprinted around the bases C. charged the mount in his sprint stance. I just decided I want to see Todd Coffey run the 100m in the Olympics. This is your home for numerous Todd Coffey jokes all summer long!! and there it is, brewers guarantee a series win against the second place cardinals. Looks like a Lakers-Thuggets western final. I’m thinking that one could go six or seven, interesting to see what kind of adjustments denver will have to make. If i’m not busy i’ll try and find boston-orlando online. not sure who to root for, boston deserves a finals shot after making it this far without their best player, but orlando is a very good team who I could see in the finals as well. all for now, i’m off to find todd coffey sprinting clips on youtube
